Die AWA Midwest Heavyweight Championship war ein Wrestlingtitel der American Wrestling Association, der von 1967 bis 1972 ausgekämpft wurde. Er entstand zur Zeit der Territorialstrukltur des US-amerikanischen Wrestlings und galt daher ausschließlich in der Umgebung von Omaha, Nebraska. Er richtete sich vor allem an Mid-Card Wrestler.

Wie bei allen Wrestlingtiteln handelte es sich bei den Matches nicht um einen sportlichen Wettstreit, sondern um einen Showkampf mit festgelegtem Ausgang.
